I like the cancel your vote option. Does this mean that it records who has voted, and not just their IP or doesn't reset because the person's cookies get cleared or the hour turns?

I record the votes by user id (we all have a UID, yours is 21, though I try to hide that fact).  I don't allow anonymous voters, though if I did the code would record them by IP, which of course CAN change over time as ISPs adjust stuff and dynamic allocation dynamically allocates :-P  It's not reliant on cookies at all.  Drupal does some session management via timestamp/cookie I think, but none of my code uses it.

We all know that the Dralasites are the best - Humans are boring, Vrusk are too stiff, and Yazirians too Klingon-like.

    Here's a quick Top-Ten list - Letterman style

    1.  Never have to figure out what to wear.
    2.  Can roll about in a ball (Very useful for hills!)
    3.  Blobbiness great for looking around corners.
    4.  Can be nicknamed "Flex"
    5.  Have names like "Borlo" and "Dorboru" - compare that with the Vrusk names!
    6.  Sniffing out liars
    7.  Can eat/drink with hands - or any other part.
    8.  Can identify people from their funk.
    9.  Strong and staminous
    10. That awesome third leg.

    Top that, Yazzophiles!

The slowness and dex penalties are a small price to pay for playing the coolest race in the galaxy.

Personally, I like to play really fat Dralasites.  Not so much to get a move penalty or anything, but certainly round and bloated.

Yazirian tri-vid talk show host Davorean Ledermin's "Elegant Eleven" for Yazirians (everyone else goes to ten, we're better because we go to eleven. Philosphy from the Spinal Tap clan):

    11. We were here first. The rest of y'all migrated.

    10. We can fly. Well, glide...but it's pretty close.

     9. There's monkey strength, and there's enraged strength. Then there's enraged monkey strength, which allows the weakest yaz to tear others' limbs from their sockets (or pseudopods from their nuclei).

     8. We can see at night. Makes us better killers.

     7. Secret clan handshakes.

     6. Do you really want to be on one of our life enemy lists?

     5. We might have the shortest lifespan, but we live and play the hardest.

     4. We fornicate for pleasure, just like humans. Female humans call us animals for more than one reason...see #5

     3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our vision, but when you're cool like us the sun shines all the time.

     2. Better dexterity & reaction speed in lieu of strength makes us better shooters. See # 6 & #8. We're also smarter and more attentive.

     1. "See that tat on my arm? That's a Black Mandrill, we're feared throughout the Frontier!"

So does this make me the unofficial Head Yazophile? A human perv's outlook on yazirians:

"Did I mention that we're anotomically compatible? That means all of the joys of going through the motions without any of the pains of birth and upbringing."

"It's all good, not to mention four teats instead of two!"

"Once you go yaz, you'll lust for hairy azz!"

"C'mere baby, I'll show ya some battle rage."

    "What's that flapping noise?"
