Just for the sake of participation in...anything. I'll start. I acquired some welding equipment earlier this year and have been dabbling with it, I'm no pro but it's been both educational and fun. Last week I jumped into my first bona-fide project with said fun stuff: I sectioned off a motorcycle fender and welded it back together as a shorter piece. It still need to be smoothed and finished but it's coming along nicely.  October 27, 2018 - 6:08pm | The motorcycle looks great wow! Like everyone else just so busy with life, but I do got some projects to get back working on. I also started taking Taekwondo classes so that is taking up some of my free time, but I need to do something to get my body back in shape, and lower my stress level and tread mills just don't work for me, but punching and kicking things is my happy place... hubby is still fighting the cancer, so chemotherapy is taking it's toll. We adopted two dogs, we got adopted by a third cat... my work schedule has been a bit crazy too. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
October 28, 2018 - 4:53pm | The motorcycle looks great wow! Thanks! I did some wok on the (formerly) grey bike shortly after starting this thread. After painting the fenders to match the new tank & side covers I remounted them and slapped a windshield & spotlight bar onto the bike. I have a set of fiberglass hard bags that will be going on next once I acquire some flat metal stock to fabricate mounting brackets with. This one is slowly evolving into a faux cop-bike to counter the Roadster.    |
