September 25, 2018 - 7:56pm | I'll open up: First off the core 4 are brilliant and I love them- root of my fondness for Star Frontiers. My favorite aliens proposed for the game is a tie: zethra and myxine (snot snake). Very alien and different. From search for Spock until but not including Star Trek Dysentery on CBS all access I have loved the Klingons. Favorite alien individual: Quark with honorable mention for the Grand Nagus. Most hated: Star Trek Dysentery klingons tied with Ja Ja Binks. Although I guess Binks should go under most hated individual. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

 September 26, 2018 - 10:22am | I would have liked to see the Eorna get some more develpment. Every Sci-Fi genre has a reptilian species and this is SF's contribution, yet it gets tossed aside once the Volturnus adventure ends. |
 September 28, 2018 - 3:31pm | Yeah, I always thougt the Eorna should gotten some more attention. Toying with the idea of bringing the aliens from the MMO game Wildstar into SF seeing as the game is shutting down the servers in 2 months. I think the Mechari, Granok, Aurin, Mordesh, Draken and Chua would fit in good..... maybe the Aurin more than the others. Who would want a destructive rat like Chua making things that has to be made and has to hurt people, the little psychopaths. In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same. |
September 29, 2018 - 9:26am | One issue I see with the Eorna is their 3m average height. To accomodate them on UPF (or civilian) ships means you have to raise the ceiling height accordingly. Looking at the assault scout deck arrangement means you have to lose two decks in order to accomplish this because they are stacked one directly above the otehr all the way up. While you really don't need two bridge decks on a small craft, you still have to toss out either the crew deck, crew quarters, maintenance deck, or cargo hold to accomodate the height changes on the remaining decks. |
