Tourist Guide To

Beautiful Kraatar

Kraatar is a delightful world of high rugged mountains and lush green hollows. In the mountains, the air is too thin to breathe, but in the hollows, and along the shores of the Yatiz Sea, it has an invigorating effect. Kraatar produces some of the finest foods in the Frontier  – even the gourmet will not be disappointed at the wide range of delicacies available. And, of course, Kraatar is deservedly famous for its splendid glassware, and flourishing computer industry.

Kraatar is a happy, carefree planet where Humans and Vrusk both enjoy a high standard of living. A visit to Kraatar is one to be treasured. After experiencing the friendly hospitality of the natives you will want to return to Kraatar again and again.

Good, but remove the comment about air too thin to breathe in the mountains, a tourist guide maximizes the positives and this detail would be viewed as a negative. Instead say something like the planet has some of the most most pristine & viriginal extreme mountain sports areas of any of the colonies in the Frontier. Or something that frames mountain air that is too thin as a positive.

Maybe they have an Iron Lung Competition (like iron man comp). Basically the winner is the one who climbs the highest before passing out or something like.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

An Iron Lung Competition?! Foot in mouth

Good point about a tourist bureau wanting to exaggerate the positives. So here's the revision below:

Laughing

Although I still need to wonder why the High Peaks Sanitarium is located way up in the mountains. It's out of range of normal vehicles, so there must be recharge stations along the way and probably mining camps.

I know it's supposed to be the KLC base of operations but it is really in the boondocks.

Was it originally built by someone else for the views?
