 October 24, 2015 - 1:45pm | That's what I did. I just e-mailed you a spreadsheet of all the numbers. There is basically a linear progression of both length and diameter as a
function of hull size, which of course means that the volume goes up
geometrically while all the construction rules assume a linear growth
system (which of course doesn't make sense). As for extending beyond HS 20, probably the easiest is to just add 50m in length and 10m in diameter for each HS you go up. With that model a HS 25 ship would be 850m long and 150m in diameter or about triple the volume of a HS 20 ship. A kilometer long ship would be HS 28, 180m in diamter and have a volume about 5.4 times that of a HS 20 ship. Although going with the established progressions would use 30m in length and 5m in diameter per HS beyond 20. Ad Astra Per Ardua! I am wondering if it is wonky becuase of SE's ship building rules which conflict with SP of course, it might have been some weird ratio build from that. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |

The above covers construction costs, drives, and support as well for 20+ hull sizes...paterned after the KH tables and expanded accordingly. You're on you own for armament as there simply is no formula for that in KH.  |
