Stibbons May 1, 2015 - 5:27am | The first one is a Star Trek ship, from the "Starfleet Museum" site, the Wasp-class Cruiser- http://www.starfleet-museum.org/wasp.htm The next is more interesting, the S.S. Pioneers from Gamescience's old 1982 Star Patrol RPG, their version of Star Frontiers Assault Scout I guess- http://www.coldnorth.com/owen/game/miscellaney/pioneer/pioneer.htm This comes in original and remastered flavours (an original cross section is in the remastered pages though). Hope they're of use to someone (if they haven't already been found and poster before that is). Set course for the 80's... (My Livejournal) |
Abub May 1, 2015 - 11:02am | The trek deck plan for the wasp is horizontal but the Pioneer is verticle... i wonder if we could find an image of the outside of the pioneer. ----------------------------------------------- |
Shadow Shack May 2, 2015 - 1:51pm | According to the opening text the ship is the one seen on the box cover. |
jedion357 May 2, 2015 - 5:28pm | The Pioneer looks like more of a HS 4 or a HS 4.5 and the uniforms does anyone else think the engineering uniform looks like its straight out of Star Trek Wrath of Kahn? and the regular jumpsuits as straight out of Star Trek the Motion Bore? I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

Stibbons May 3, 2015 - 1:57am | The "remastered" section has a take on what the outside of the ship looks like as well. Also... I hadn't noticed the "Large Rolling Rock", "Macintosh", Robby the Robot and the Giant Tribble in the deck plans until now. Set course for the 80's... (My Livejournal) |
Tchklinxa May 4, 2015 - 8:37pm | Also... I hadn't noticed the "Large Rolling Rock", "Macintosh", Robby the Robot and the Giant Tribble in the deck plans until now. LOL, every ship needs a rolling rock & who wouldn't just lock the door to the Giant Tribble and walk away. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Abub May 8, 2015 - 12:20pm | @jedion357 yes I see now you are correct. I wonder if at the beginning of the Earth Romulan was if earth didn't have artificial gravity? Here a few others I found from that page... http://www.starfleet-museum.org/krechet.htm http://www.starfleet-museum.org/powhatan.htm http://www.starfleet-museum.org/amarillo.htm Seems there are others ----------------------------------------------- |
