 December 22, 2012 - 10:34am | I am putting together a game in which I intend to run through all the old modules. If you've played them before, it's probably been a while so anyone is welcome. I am considering a pbp format, and will be starting with Dramune Run. Characters made should be general power level of the characters on page 20 of the Dramune Run remastered. I will, of course, make slight alterations, to the modules. Alpha Dawn and Knight Hawks rules, and Zeb's Guide for equipment and supplemental information, but not the Zeb's rules. So, who is interested? I could even be convinced to go beyond the pbp format (irc, google hangouts, etc. should there be sufficient interest). I plan to put up my own SF blog detailing the adventures. Let me know the level of interest. These two yazarians and this vrusk walk into a bar... |

I didn't peruse the four pages but I pulled and tailored a character from the Online Character Sheets project here and ported him to the board. He still needs some refining, but here's the submission: As for the starting credit per AD --- do we already have the Stsandard Equipment Pack or must we purchase that with the starting creds? |

Did you know that my handle: jedion is based on a French pronounciation of my middle name since my French Canadian undle that is where I get that middle name was known as Uncle Jed though his and my middle name is Gedion? I was actually startled when I read the name for your character but its all good as my online persona is Jedion or Jedi On. EDIT: you may wish to post a post of your character's reaction to mine who spent most of the trip toward "skyfall" getting drunk then immediately after skyfall throwing himself full force into doing his duties and or practicing with a zamra. Its partly because the alcohol that he had brought on board ship under the pretext of medical supplies was confiscated and he figured that work would distract him if he could not drink. [I've sent a few post to Sam of my character on Pale and then on ship] but after skyfall and arrival in Zebulon kahn decides to do medical exams of everyone in the party to compile baseline reading on everyone. If that is not enough to stay busy, and its not that likely to, then he'll offer to do medical exams of the crew who have probably had enough of him by this point and if that doesn't keep him busy then he'll practice with the zamra for hours. My arrogance and conceit is usually limited to certain areas-it would not be normal for me to appropriate and important title though perhaps if I was to take a title with Jedi in it I might have gone with jedi-off. No back in the '90s I chose the name jedion as an online identity with no thought to Star Wars. For nearly every online site that requires a log in name I use it but if extra security was required I have one based off a pet's name.And I already have a few plans for interactions between our two yazirians. ;) I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

December 29, 2012 - 2:11am | So with four characters posted we have 2 yaz, 1 vrusk, 1 human. We have the classic Bio-social skills from AD covered once, we have one character dedicated to military/scout stuff and one that is likely to be our pilot with a side of robotics. We can always use another shooter and more coverage in the tech skills wont hurt. Of course a doubling up on science skills wont hurt IMO. There are still two people who expressed interest in playing yet to post characters so you guys have plenty of options yet. I imagine that any straglers joining the game after it starts can get written in as having gotten off the serena dawn via escape pod and simply llinked up with the party latter. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

Its Adel's "Skyfall" I had figured calling the artist Odel would give it away and making her a dralasite would be a good visual impression of her since she's not a thin stick of a woman.I dont download music or buy CDs but I've been enjoying her music on the radio so much that I may just make an exception I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
