 September 26, 2012 - 11:17am | Just got a copy of Zebs off ebay for $19.99 ($23.88 with shipping) but the map was missing. Oh Well. First impression of the book is that the artwork is weak but that is understandable knowing how it came to be published. Still 4 crappy racial pictures for the 4 new races, 3 recycled images from a module, a handfull of equipment illustrations and mega corp logos and that very rough picture of a yazirian and a humma fighting some sathar and the yaz is trying to repair his rifle with a shower head. I actuallylike the layout for the star/planetary catalog with the planetary footnotes in the center column. All in all not a very impressive document when viewed in the flesh. was surpirsed to learn that Kim Eastland's name was really Kimber (or at least that was how he was credited) and that one of the Blumes got a special thanks in the book when I thought he had been out at TSR by this point. Perhaps someone had felt he deserved credit for his imput on the SF material despite being gone from the company. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

 September 27, 2012 - 6:19am | I still happen to have my origional, pristine copy. :D Pristine because it wasn't used all that much. O:) Liked the weapons and gear but that was about it... I don't have to outrun that nasty beast my friend...I just have to outrun you!  |
