Anonymous September 24, 2012 - 8:50pm | I know some of you are interested in non-SF stuff we do. For those that aren't linked to my G+ to Twitter here's something I posted today. BareBones Fantasy RPG is due out Oct 29th. We'll have about a month of additional products related to BBF, then we hit the floor burning rubber on FrontierSpace! |
AZ_GAMER September 25, 2012 - 4:41pm | The little guy on the right is thinking "I think were gonna need more adventurers" |
OnceFarOff September 25, 2012 - 5:05pm | Nice. I thought the tank went in before the wizard though... :) |
jedion357 September 25, 2012 - 5:11pm | Nice. I thought the tank went in before the wizard though... :) Why does the tank always have to go first, i think its time for wizards to step up and go on point for a while I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
w00t (not verified) September 25, 2012 - 8:09pm | In this game, the even the spellcaster can be a tank. Nice. I thought the tank went in before the wizard though... :) The dwarf reminds me Gimli, always trying to keep up with Legolas. The elf saying, "This is how it's done boys!" The halfling is either laying low or waiting to attack from stealth. Tom, when tanks fail trains prevail. |
AZ_GAMER September 25, 2012 - 10:55pm | Well maybe the elf is saying, "this is how its done boys, I hold back and wait for the dragon to eat our cocky mage. Then I shoot the dragon with this ole +20 magic arrow with a required save vs. sheeping (i mean pollymorph) per hit from my ultra cool hypersonic +10 bow of flex" |
CleanCutRogue September 26, 2012 - 9:07am | The mage looks like he's gonna be the appetizer to the adventurer lunch this dragon's about to eat. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our
vision, but when you're cool like us the sun shines all the time. |
iggy September 26, 2012 - 10:48am | The halfling is thinking, "dibs on their stuff after the dragon coughs up the weapons, coins, and armor from eating these over eager fools." -iggy |
w00t (not verified) September 26, 2012 - 2:52pm | If anyone has an itching to write fantasy adventures or supplements I'm looking for freelancers. Products can be part of the Keranak setting, your own or a stand-alone adventure. PM me if interested. How about a story involving this hero? (image copyright DwD Studios) |
AZ_GAMER September 26, 2012 - 5:02pm | Maybe in 2013, im running out of time and busy with so many side projects now. Love BBF and can't wait to get the final product and do some work for it. We're gonna need a BBF 'zine and website ya' kno' :) |
rattraveller September 26, 2012 - 7:02pm | Where do we find the Keranak setting? Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go? |
w00t (not verified) September 26, 2012 - 7:23pm | Already got that covered AZ! The mag will cover BBF and FS (when it comes out). Gonna be sweet! |
CleanCutRogue September 26, 2012 - 7:41pm | I've been heavily involved in both the core rulebook and the setting book and I'm genuinely excited about the product. I've played countless sessions too, and that's how I know it's fun! 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our
vision, but when you're cool like us the sun shines all the time. |
w00t (not verified) September 26, 2012 - 7:42pm | The core book has "lite" 7 page setting which include a 2 page map. A larger version is 48pg and details each section presented in the core book. Where do we find the Keranak setting? If you're seriously interested in writing adventures or support material for it, we can provide an advance copy of the setting book which is currently slated for release in November. |
