thecrazygm August 1, 2012 - 12:22pm | Just released the fifth issue of Sci-fi Sandbox, used to be called captains log. What is special about this issue is it was written by Larry Moore, aka w00t! Check it out if you don't mind. I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it. |
w00t (not verified) August 1, 2012 - 12:31pm | With lots of help form Michael and Joshua! (Great guys to work with). The beauty of the Toys line is how simple it is to get ideas and run with Star Frontiers. For this issue there are enough bad-guy races to drop into an "infection" encounter. Thanks for posting! |
w00t (not verified) August 1, 2012 - 12:32pm | There is also a bundle |
gnytro August 1, 2012 - 5:22pm | I'm certainly interested in grabbing these, but have on question first: The blurb says "suitable for any Space Opera/Sci Fi RPG", which is cool, but is the material statted up for a particular system, or system-less for maximum compatibility? ~ Rich berentiu@gmail.com |
jedion357 August 1, 2012 - 7:20pm | I think its system less I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
w00t (not verified) August 1, 2012 - 8:58pm | gnytro, There is a general stats category I came up with for Toys. You can use them to adapt to any game, for instance. Stats: Body (Average) Speed (Average) Mind (Excellent) Will (Good) In Star Frontiers an average stat is 50, the above PC might look like; STR/STA 50/50 DEX/RS 55/45 INT/LOG 65/70 PER/LDR 60/60 |
