August 2, 2011 - 8:33am | Location Transdime Corporation Headquarters building The CEO of Transdime has been killed and since he was talking on the chronocom at the time his death is fixed at 5:59 this morning. The initial coroner's exam confirms this time due to body temp readings. Since the security were called by the person the CEO was talking to and they arrived at 6:30 to find the body and seal the building. A check of the surveilence systems revealed that they were accessed and the camera footage and ID lock memory caches were wiped clean. This means the security systems cannot tell us who entered when and what areas of the building were accessed by them. There was a time stamp on the memory wipes of 6:25 and 6:27. For this reason the police are resonably certain that the killer is still present. Only four employees are present Carl Withers (H), Rollo Dollo (D), Nxick (V), and Jaguar (Y). PCs are tasked with figuring out who killed the CEO. Initial questioning of all four resulted in this: three of them followed their typical morning routine of grooming and left their arcology tower to walk to work arriving about 6 and didn't see anything. Dollo worked late and slept in his office, waking up early to continue his work. Who killed the CEO? I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

August 2, 2011 - 8:30am | Further questioning of Jaguar revealed that he did an early morning 20 minute work out in the arcology gym, took a sonic shower and walked to work. A call to the arcology tower revealled that Jaguar's ID had been swiped at the buildings gym at 4:14 with a power spike in the gym's locker room that would correspond with the power demand for a sonic shower at 4:35. The walk to Transdime is roughly 15 minutes. He claims to have entered his office and read reports till the arrival of security. August 2, 2011 - 8:48am | Nxick claims to have come to work agout 5:05 and longed onto the computer in his office and worked there till security arrived. A check of the computer log on cache show that Nxick did in deed log in at 5:07. Dollo was logged on all night, Jaqguar never logged in, and Carl logged on at 6:23 and logged off at 6:28. Fruther digging in the computer reveals that it was the terminal in Carl's office that initiated the memory wipes of the security data. Carl was found in the lobby by the responding security officers. He adamately asserts his innocence pointing to the cup of coffee in his hand. He purchased it at a kiosk vender who doesn't open till 6 and they talked for a few minutes while Carl added sugar and creamer to his coffee. This checks out that Carl was not in the building at 6:00 and was about 20 minutes away by foot while purchasing his coffee.

August 2, 2011 - 8:59am | Scanner reading in the CEO's office only reveal his DNA and no trace from the killer indicating he did not leave any DNA or cells behind. Strongly suggesting it wasn't a human or yazirian which would likely have left hair or fur behind. Suspicion falls on Dollo and Nxick but both deny the crime. Further questioning reveals that Dollo has Dramune Dry Skin Syndrome (or dralasite dandriff) he's almost certain to have left flaky skin behind in the CEO's office if he killed him.
