 August 1, 2011 - 7:23am | 25 years ago, Dr. Kate McCrae lost her father when his ship with all hands was lost when it failed to pull away from a black hole. Sine that time she has become the premiere physist studying black holes. Since both time and space distort close to a black hole she now believes she can rescue her father and the crew of the Cygnus. A brave crew is required to man the experimental craft. Naturally the rescue attempt is itself a one way ticket to the future seeing as how time will slow for the rescue party too. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
August 1, 2011 - 7:31am | Story complications: Capt. McCrae is a tyrant and a mutiny was happening when the ship failed to pull away (it should have been able to pull away no problem but the security bot, Maximillion, and his lesser bots were storming the engine room at the critical moment and the ship was pulled in despite last minute thrust being applied. Other complications: another ship is present- meaning more than one crew to rescue. Plus what does the future Frontier look like? I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
