 September 6, 2010 - 11:20pm | Here is a short project I put together recently after developing the stats for the USS Peregrine. It tells the story of how the first Human's made it from Earth to the Dark Tempest. For those of you who are not familiar with the Dark Tempest it is an alternate game setting being developed for the Frontierspace RPG as well as Star Frontiers. Many elements of my Titan Rising, fictional comic book universe have tie-ins to the dark tempest setting and are interchangable. This is primarly due to the origin of Titan Rising which is based on a long lived campaign setting that was created for the Star Frontiers game club of my youth. After many years of playing SF we got bored of the standard cannon material and started creating our own races, house rules, and game settings. I hope that you enjoy the story and continue to support my work here. |

April 3, 2011 - 5:30pm | This project is finally nearing completion with only one episode left. Part 9 is finished and I will be posting it on the Titan Rising Game Setting Page soon. It has been a lot of fun working on this project but it is a lot of work and a lot of hours. This comic has been a radical departure from the classical comic book style that I have been working with on previous projects and it has been interesting working on a comic that didnt use speech balloons. For those of you who have enjoyed this story thanks for following along. It has been an attempt at bridging the Titan Rising Universe with the Dark Tempest Universe and may provide a storyline for future projects. Each one of the two page episodes takes about ten hours to create and compose so this project has been about 40 man hours to create, compose and finish. 3/4 of the way through I had to take a break from it as I was getting tired of looking at it but it has needed wrapping up for a while so I can work on other projects. |
