Of air ships, planes and parachutes

The thread in the general forums on bicycles got me thinking:

need top delete air cars from the equipment list and add airships (like the one in the Eleanor Mores module) and good old fashioned air planes.

anyone familiar enough with airplanes to want to take a stab at writing some performance statistics for the game?

I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I was actually contemplating the idea of non-electric vehicles. Not full-on internal combustion motors, hybrids perhaps, but something that is slightly "older" in technology and a tad less "green".

There are some modern electric/hybrid planes that are small in size that would be a good pattern for an SF plane. Here's one from a company called Sonex:

Auto-gyros are certainly feasible too...
