jedion357 May 12, 2023 - 9:24am | I'm thinking of a miniature 24" high version of Cthulhu like creature- bulbous head, mouth tentacles, but wings are optional and it is a methane breather and uses a robotic encounter suit. No know verbal contact and enigmatic behavior like it's ship just showing up and abducting a smaller ship to be never seen again, some implacable Sathar style attacks but people who encounter them directly report a painful mind attack 1d10 against LOG (or whatever we use) no defense or only defense is psychic defense, and those who exp this attack report hearing voices in their head although they cannot say what the voices were saying. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
jedion357 May 12, 2023 - 9:27am | This gives use a Sathar like big bad, thst is enigmatic and as dangerous as the Sathar and quite possibly might be turning people into agents like the Sathar do but generally it's on the short term before erratic behavior and madness turns up I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
jedion357 May 12, 2023 - 9:33am | Also I like an AI robotic race but lets change it up to not be a humanoid like robot- 2 arms & 2 legs. Something squid or octopod like- yes like in the Matrix movies but it's not as cliche as the old school Cylons or the Mechanon. They could cooperate with the Thule - my wokthing name for the mini Cthulhu like methane breather- which could raise the question "Is the machine race the creation of the Thule?" I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
jedion357 May 12, 2023 - 9:37am | My Basillo 6 limbed reptile species with a matriarchal society that was in the SFman way back can be used although I'm planning some changes to them. So for me I have 2 Player species (human & Basilloe) and two enemy species. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
