I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

4 basic espionage/spy plots

I like the Mystery.
A mid level character, as per the creating a Star Law PC article in Dragon could navigate one of these adventures solo or with intermittent allies. Or even a robot companion.

Alternately low level party would have a variety of skills and could get the job done. For certain plots having a PC party means more shooters and that can be a benefit.

Bond would be a high level character.

Sometimes the mystery would be the challenge not so much the antagonists and combat.

A star frontiers espionage plot: bad things happened on a ship jumping between systems and authorities want to know why and who did it.

PC (s) could be insurance investigator, corporate fixer, star law, militia, space fleet.

Maybe the "Mentor" is a researcher/writer/conspiracy t theorist and is certain the official story is a cover up. He wants the PCs to find the evidence he's looking for.

Edit: the Antagonist could be: crew, mega corp, government, passengers, alien(s), robotic run amok.

I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Yes, an espionage adventure would be a good idea. You could also take those old Top Secret and modify them for SF.

Sathar Agents --- because not all of them need to be hypnotized, some are actually willing traitors.
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out
