A return to the Frontier

Hello everyone...
by happenstance, I stumbled across this board at work and was almost fired for quote "squealing too loud". I didn’t know there was a gauge for squealing, and that it was that easy to surpass tolerance levels.

I hope to become a constant here on the forums as other than D&D, Star Frontiers was and is one of the best products ever created by TSR. It's great to know others feel the same.

In the immortal words of Kay'Cee Case'm, Dralasite:
"Keep your pseudopods on the ground, and keep reaching for Dixon's Star"

Glad to have you here. I hope you'll feel at home enough to participate in all the discussions and projects that interest you. Smile

To give you a run down on my own projects, 25th AER is closed to editing (because there is a very specific purpose it is to serve), but very much open to input. The Beta Dawn Sourcebook, Gamma Dawn Sourcebook, Delta Dawn Sourcebook, Star Law Campaign book, and d20 Conversions are all open to editing and participation. Just read the guidelines of those projects and the Read Me posts in their forums for details on the goals of the projects. Those projects are meant to cover the entire gammut of Frontier adventures. Though, as you can see, they leave plenty of room for many other project ideas.

Also, despite my own projects, if someone wants to go in a different direction with the same ideas, they can feel free, as this site is about the free expression of ideas. Smile

I think Shadow Shack's work is also particularly excellent stuff (not to say that anyone else's isn't excellent. I just find his ideas to work in the same direction as my own).

By the way, don't forget to check out the Star Frontiersman and the Remastered! projects. This site ows its existence to those efforts, all of which are the work and brain children of Bill Logan, resident genius. Smile

Welcome!

I always thought Kay'Cee Case'm said to reach for Truane's or Madderly's Star...Dixon's is an outpost system and not really worth reaching for LOL

Although I have to say a lot of people, myself included, have used Dixon's as a major point for many a campaign. Even the Corporate Wars were staged there in published material (Dragon and Zeb's Guide).
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

Hey... quick question to you all... My daughter and I have started a new campaign that has some extras (pdf's) that I would like to share with everyone here. How do I go about doing that? anyone?

What type of PDF's are they?
If it's adventure type stuff, join the Fistful of Credits project and put them in the Download section. If it's House Rules put them in The House Rules Wiki project.

OK?

Can't wait to see them!  :-D

We're not formal here.  Lots of projects to work with and help out.  If you have some PDF stuff to add that we haven't seen yet -- we're all excited to see it :)
