 January 24, 2017 - 9:43pm | Those are awesome! Makes you wonder why they haven't been in a magazine. Larry would have used them on the back of the SFman in the classifieds. I could be totally off here but I seem to remember hearing or rather reading something about Grymz Guide to Galactic Conquest coming to an end? Or was that a vicious rumor? Hard to say as I'm only just getting my life back on track after the divorce. AT anyrate if Grymz is wrapping up these would make decent filler for the back cover of FE for a short while at any rate. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
January 25, 2017 - 7:38am | Grymz Guide is ending (2 or 3 more left, I don't remember off the top of my head without checking) but Scott has a new spinoff comic to replace it so there actually isn't going to be a gap. February 14, 2017 - 9:41am | The following are some things I created like 9 years ago. Ther first was a cover for my version of the rules including all the house rule stuff I wanted.  The Next series of Pics were player handout covers that would be handed out at the beginning of an adventure when they were at a space station. some was just fluff but some was new equipment like the Frontier Ordinance cover with the article headline, "Equipment for the Financially challenged" - that hand out had a print out of the entry level hand guns from SFman #1 in it. I might hand out one of these if they PCs were exploring a star ship ie SErena Dawn they would just happen to come across a plasti-paper hard copy of the magazine that talked about survival equipement. Some things might be new equipment, some things in it might be fluff, somethings might be clues for the adventure like the day they got the magazine talking aobut concealed weapons and NPC female was likely to have something concealed that could hurt the PCs, OR the one with the headline "Review of Tachton's Newest Security Bots" probably had the hard stats, missions, and functions of the security robots likely to be encountered which was a chance for the PCs to think about how best to deal with the robots in the session- ie they could come up with something other than blasting away at them- nothing wrong with blasting away a robot unless of course ammo is limited. three covers:    I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
