 November 19, 2011 - 12:09am | Well, just hit 50 races on my SF website with the 50th being the Kurabanda. Was a toughy too. Trying to find an existing sketch of something that fit the description of a Kurabanda was futile. The only two sketches are from the SF0 Volturnus module (of course); one being an angled rear-quarter view of a Kurabanda fighting one of the space pirates (red devils?) and the other was a frontal view of the Kurabanda chief. Neither would do for what I was looking for. Then I searched for pics of Tarsier monkeys (the physical description of Kurabanda suggest that they look like Tarsier monkeys). Nothing workable there either. Finally, I settled on a very crude sketch of a caveman, then did an enormous pixel-by-pixel transformation of the original image.
