it's official. I got the go ahead from WotC to make the 35th
anniversary patch. So now I need to get a good count of how many I need
to make. The full details and a picture of the patch design (also shown at right) can be found
at http://starfrontiers.info/patch2017.html.
I plan to put the order in mid to late October (after the next issue of
the Frontier Explorer has been out a few weeks) and ship the patch as
soon as they arrive (probably around the first of the year). If you are
interested in one or more patches, please visit the site and send me an

September 22, 2016 - 8:04pm | I don't need a specific number. I'm planning on making at least 100 like last time. If I get enough requests and pre-orders that we are getting close to that, I'll probably order 200 since I don't want to run out before everyone that wants one gets one and there are bound to be people that will order one once they are in hand that didn't pre-order. I've already had 44 requested (7 of which have already been paid for) before counting iggy and jedion357. If you guys get 4 and 5 respectively like last time, that puts me at 53. If rattraveller has already place a request or pre-order he's counted in that 44. I'll have a better count after the next Frontier Explorer issue goes out as to the final estimate. October 27, 2016 - 6:24pm | I'm up to 56 requested (+n for jedion357) with over half of them already paid for and the final call for preorders and requests goes out in the Frontier Explorer issue that is going out to Patron backers tonight and generally probably on Monday. December 14, 2016 - 8:32pm | My 35th Anniversary patch arrived tonight. I must say its far sexier in person than in the photos above. And the 1 and 7 in 2017 are more noticeably different than I originally thought they would be. This is just a piece of coolness, thanks very much for everything it took to get these done! |
