2012 Honda Rebel w/2800 miles for $500, it has a few issues that shouldn't be difficult to iron out. It runs (perfectly) so the rest is small potatoes.

Very nice.  You should ride it North on I-15 and pay TerlObar and I a visit.

I think you should rip the wheels off and convert it to hover fans.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I did a bit of work on the new toy today. First off I swapped a spare set of black side covers on to replace the single OEM grey cover and the missing one from the battery side. I gave it a good once over and replaced a few of the missing fasteners that were readily noticeable and ensured the others were properly torqued.

After that I took a healthy run around the block (sans plates...I gotta fix that soon) only to notice the clutch was slipping...with 2800 miles it certainly couldn't have been worn so I was thinking the prior owner might have used energy conserving oil (which is not good for motorcycle engines as the crankcase and transmission share the same oil and the energy conserving oils can glaze the clutch plates). It turned out to be a simple fix: the clutch cable was adjusted too tight as it was engaging at all times. A quick adjustment later and all was well again.

Tomorrow I'm changing the oil, just to be sure. Cool
