ChrisDonovan June 21, 2016 - 11:05pm | Why not? They're the same information. At any rate, I went back and checked the PDF vs my hardcopy. The pages are there. You may be thrown off because the page number on the page image is 2-3 pages behind the pagecount at the top of the PDF viewer. The PDF viewer counts the pages starting with the cover as page 1. So to get to the Equipment List on page 40 of the physical book. you'll want pp 42 or 43 of the PDF. |
Stormcrow June 22, 2016 - 5:18am | I'm not looking for the Equipment Lists pages; I'm looking for the pull-out reference pages. They came between pages 30 and 31 and were not numbered themselves. They include most of the tables found in the rules.
Because the graphics and heavy purple styling make them difficult to read. This is true of the entire "remastered" set. Although I appreciate the "remastered" effort, the creator obviously has no concept of good typography. |
ChrisDonovan June 22, 2016 - 7:34am | Fair ennough. I didn't realiza my hardcopy was incomplete. Have you tried the GM's Screen (next scan to the right of the Expanded Rule Book)? It has all the same information. |
Stormcrow June 22, 2016 - 8:30am | That's better, though it's not the greatest scan. Oh well. |
ChrisDonovan June 22, 2016 - 10:04am | Glad I could help. I'll cop to the layout/design of parts of the remastered project being a bit off. I think those borders are too busy, esp in that bright color. They don't look as bad when printed out in B/W though. |
TerlObar June 22, 2016 - 4:05pm | I've got my 32 year old copies of those reference sheets sitting right behind me. I'll scan them in and post in the Port Loren Library once they are done. Actually now that I think about it, those ones are pretty beat up. I'll can from my pristine copy of the rules. Back in a bit. Ad Astra Per Ardua! TerlObar June 22, 2016 - 5:31pm | Get your copy here: Not a perfect scan but I was a little rushed as I had to get to my son's ball game. I'll try to get a better copy when I get back next week from my conference trip. Ad Astra Per Ardua!
