TerlObar April 20, 2016 - 7:35pm | Hello Explorers! Issue 16 of the Frontier Explorer is now available at the magazine's website or DriveThruRPG (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/181159/Frontier-Explorer--Issue-16). This issue is a big reminder that this really is a community magazine and that we couldn’t do it without you. A special thanks to Joseph Cabadas and Chris Donovan who stepped up and provided a huge number of articles for this issue. In this issue you’ll find a variety of new equipment, weapons, and vehicles, as well as a complete system brief for the S’sessu home worlds, equipment, flora, and fauna related to the S’sessu, and hooks to help bring the S’sessu into your campaign. In addition, we have some great weapon stat cards that you can print out and use at your table to keep track of the various weapons in the party and owned by the NPCs. The complete contents of this issue include:

ChrisDonovan April 21, 2016 - 8:24am | It's not like I own the concept. Start a thread with your version. I'm sure everyone would love to see it. |
TerlObar April 21, 2016 - 7:35pm | We can even run it in a future article as a variant version by a different company. Ad Astra Per Ardua! Tchklinxa April 21, 2016 - 9:18pm | Hey great edition. Love how the ideas on the wormies got worked into to the articles. :) "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
Tchklinxa April 21, 2016 - 9:24pm | Can't seem to login at SE though... seems to not like any of my e-mail addresses or my user name. :( "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
ChrisDonovan April 21, 2016 - 9:29pm | Tom, I want to thank you for the kind shout out in the magazine. I was a little afraid I'd flood you with too many submissions. I appreciate knowing that I was able to help you out of a tight spot. I'm still working on stuff for the future. I've got one write up in the que now, and I hope to have a book review of the new Buck Rogers novella done soon. I realize you probably won't be able to use it all because it's only fair other people get their stuff in too. But I'll try to give you my best. Hopefully at least some of it will be good enough. Again, thanks for publishing me. It's my first publication credit. |
TerlObar April 22, 2016 - 5:04am | Anything you send in will make it in eventually. I do try to have a mix of authors in the magazine when I can but if all I have is stuff from a few people, they get lots of page time. So (and this goes for everybody) send in things as you finish them and we'll get them published. If we get enough material regularly, we'd even put out more issues and ressurect the Star Frontiersman. In any case, thank you for your submissions and you're welcome for the shout out. TerlObar April 23, 2016 - 5:13pm | Password reset and I sent you an e-mail with the details. Yes please reset as no matter what I tried it was all nope not today are you signing in. Also do I need to set up an account for the other mag to submit or does it matter? You do not need an account for the Star Frontiersman, in fact, that site doesn't even have accounts. We use the same submission queue for both. Ad Astra Per Ardua! Tchklinxa April 25, 2016 - 9:09pm | I can log in again, thanks... so just upload articles to the one then? I have a few I think I just need to do a final read through on, critters and more critters. I have GW1's B's done I think, a new take on the Gluey and the Phase Spider are all about ready. I did some new art... will fight with the computer's scanner this week. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |

Tchklinxa April 27, 2016 - 8:46pm | Okay done, they need review and feed back and probably fresh art with the exception of a couple. We may wish to assign different planets of origin to a few as well. Uploaded: Barl Nep, Badder (NPC/PC race), Brutorz, Blaash, Ber Lep, Blight, The Gluey/Adherer and Phase Spider conversions. Everyone start humming National Geographic's theme song (Jupiter)... I have a lot more to get done. "Never fire a laser at a mirror." |
JCab747 April 28, 2016 - 10:30am | Hi TerlObar: I just submitted my Robots Rules of Order Revised story to you. I will try to source some artwork for you, though I have several other writing assignments to finish during the next week. PS, I am looking at talking to someone at Vivos!, a company that makes luxury apocalypse survival shelters, for another possible future story... and one that I can get artwork for. Best Regards, Joe Cabadas |
TerlObar April 29, 2016 - 4:58pm | No rush on the art. It's still 2 months until that deadline. Ad Astra Per Ardua! My blog - Expanding Frontier Webmaster - The Star Frontiers Network & this site Founding Editor - The Frontier Explorer Magazine Managing Editor - The Star Frontiersman Magazine |
