 May 20, 2014 - 6:02am | I've been having a bit of problems with leeches recently. First I had Drew Carver of Space Cowboys Unlimited have a station appear on one of my theta stars. You might remember Drew from a little tangle we had with him a year or so ago over my gamma ore planet. Anyway, his station was marked as recently attacked so it may have just regenerated there. I sent him a note and he moved on within 24 hours. That was a couple of days ago. This morning I found that Dean Wood of Sith Empire United has parked his (undamaged) station on my theta star at 2050, 1243. I just sent him a note asking him to move on, but I'm not so sure he'll be as accomodating. So we may have a fight on our hands. Let me know if you guys have any assets in the area. I have a shipyard en route but it's 3 days out at the moment. I'll be launching fleets shortly to move into the area as a show of force to hopefully get this guy to move on. Ad Astra Per Ardua!  May 20, 2014 - 1:36pm | I'm detecting some chatter among daily players that they start going after people with high PL at a certain point which is possibly why you've been having a problem. Its like if your big in the game than you're fair game. which is one reason I've been thinking twice about building 20,000 turrets. We should talk to the leader of SEU and iggy seemed to have a connection with him during the last difficulty with the SEU. I can move commanders around and easily skin off 1400 turrets with their commander to drop on the location as a show of support, my turret tech is 17/18 I think. (side note I only have the one 1400 fleet commander as I only drive my commanders to 1000 just because its a nice round number for head math total of 3 1000 fleet commanders). I'll see whats close to the location. EDIT: SY enroute 1day 2 hours. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

I would send a friendly note and ask him for advice since we do not desire to have a problem. Phrasing it as asking advice gives us the option to not take it of course or to push things a little further by dragging in the alliance leader. I thought he was the alliance leader, funny that this alliance has undergone so many leadership changes. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
May 21, 2014 - 7:42am | Actually, Dean Wood replied to me. Said he thought I was an inactive player and was going to bump me off the star. It sounds like there won't be any problems but he hasn't moved his station yet. Not sure you you can figure that the player with the 5-6th highest PL is inactive but okay. He also offered me an invide to join their alliance. I told him thanks but no thanks. My SY are a couple days out still but if he hasn't moved by tonight I'll send him another note. This one is just NW of our king of the hill spot at (659,2575). This is another case of a station that has been recently attacked showing up on one of my stars. This time it's Mark Nelson of the Orion Pirates. I've sent him a note as well and I'll see how he responds. Although at this point I'm getting a little fed up with it and am ready to just start recycling station. Ad Astra Per Ardua! May 22, 2014 - 3:49am | I found a pair of regular stars south by southwest of there where I'll set up shop so that I can be in close support. currently moving a SY and RS from another regular star. This will let my SY support toms theta and if one of you wants to grab the second regular star the defenses I deploy will cover the RS without you having to move a SY there. If you have a RS sitting on a regualr star it could be worth while. I'm taking 2028,1275 so 2032,1271 is up for grabs I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

Still I'm going to move to the new pair of stars because its close to yours but not so close as to show up on scan from yours. I'll simply be swapping one regular star for the next.
