Star Frontiersman # 22
jedion357 October 28, 2013 - 5:37am | I'm confused, saurians were a biological lizard race presented in Dragon magazine, perhaps you should rename this as Cylons (Mechanons)? I would change the saurian name to something else to prevent confussion or explicitly state that you're reworking the saurian material. EDIT: I was unaware of the lizard man origin of the '70's era cylon but i still think the project's name is confusing but I get the choice of name now. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
Jaxon October 29, 2013 - 4:33pm | If you look at the Imperious Leader, it appears to be a lizard. The Cylons were a biological race. I just replaced the Cylons with the Saurians - for an ALTERNATE version. The Mechanons already exsist so, this would provide another robotic race - but, it is one that everyone loves to hate. The Project name is to accomodate the new race (Cylons) or the alternate race (Saurians). |

...I was unaware of the lizard man origin of the '70's era cylon ... I uploaded two pics of the Imperious or Imperial Leader. |
Jaxon November 4, 2013 - 5:33am | An adventure has been uploaded... This is designed as a follow on to “Warriors of the White Light” by Douglas Niles. Referees should have Star Frontiers Knight Hawks and Alpha Dawn rules. The encounters will take place on spaceships and give the characters opportunities to use their spaceship skills but, they will also need their fundamental skills. If you plan to be a player of this adventure, stop reading here! |
