Public History- Krondot’s parents were part of the original colonists on Inner Reach. Krondot grew up on a farm his bud parent started from scratch. It never had much contact with other Dralasites as a youth except for Third Day Debate Circles. Instead it spent a great deal of its time studying food. Not just cooking and farming but all aspects of food, from the first planting in different soil types to the final spicing used by various cultures. His parent encouraged it and made sure it had plenty of cooking holovids and readers on plants and animal husbandry. When it matured a little and started craving more company and debating, Krondot set up a roadside vegetable stand/steam bath which soon became one of the most popular food and debating spots on Inner Reach. The key to its success was the combinations of pure ingredients that Krondot insisted on using no matter if they were natural or artificial. Building an empire from this humble beginning was a daunting task but one Krondot was up to, in its own way. Keeping with the pure style Krondot started the Dralasite fashion of wearing their moods on their skins with special paints, even though Dralasites cannot see color, these paints work on the visual, nasal and even tactile level. Finally on the very site of his parents’ farm, Krondit built Synthtown. A Megacorp headquarters unlike any other. Synthtown is built upon Krondot’s philosophy of purity of essence. The buildings are all “green” and built to fit in with the natural flow of the environment.

Real History- While everyone thinks of Synthco as some counterculture commune of freethinkers few beings in the Frontier realize just what it takes to create a Megacorp, especially one that is sitting next to another planet which they have gone to war with three times. Hilo Headow, CEO of Streel met Krondot once at a UPF conference. Afterward at an interview Hilo said Krondot was the only being he had ever met who scared him. He did not elaborate.

Present- Krondot and Synthco are at the top of their game right now. What they plan to do is up in the air. Some say they are going for the ultimate food which all the species can survive and thrive on and never need anything else. Others say they are planning on wiping out their pesky neighbors.
