jedion357 May 30, 2013 - 9:07pm | having a small issue at 1244,1280 and my closes SY is over a day away. If anyone had a SY that would be their sooner that'd be nice. Just sent a note to ask what's up. Edit: I'm likely to be tied up all day tomarrow- work asked be to pull an 11-12 hour day and doing moves from the smart phone is a pain. I'll look for an answer in the morning but the rest of the day could be tough. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
TerlObar June 2, 2013 - 11:15am | The lower power level just means they have very few if any resource stations and only a few standing ships. My PL is so high becuase I have something like 8-10 thousand (maybe more) turrets floating around. Interestingly, his tech levels are on par or lower than mine. Ad Astra Per Ardua! iggy June 2, 2013 - 2:46pm | Yes. They are RS poor where we have taken a position of taking and holding lots of terratory. They seem to only be interested in high value and cool terratory. My tech is also on par with his and I am at a higher PL. My PL is higher because I have 62 station, and I have alot of turrets guarding my high value worlds. My PL flucuates +/- 3000 points just in the king of the hill battles where I am killing and rebuilding 840 ships. I think our method of play is a more balance form. We are self sustaining and have a tendency to build just enough SY to defend ourselves with a strong effect. I put a SY on each of my high value worlds and pick worlds that are spreadout enough that these SY do not have overlapping spheres of influence. -iggy |
jedion357 June 2, 2013 - 4:27pm | I've opted to hold lower value worlds to just limit the bullying crap. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
