 December 25, 2012 - 10:55am | Holiday wishes to one and all, what ever the holiday observed by your species. BTW It suddenly occured to me that the (I thought it was called this have to look for sure when I get back to Boston) -Founders Day to celebrate the Founding of the UPF would actually be the same as our New Years Day. In fact since it celebrates the founding of the UPF and happens on the first day of the new year you can expect that the denziens of the Frontier are a little bit nostolgic and thinking about resolutions or plans for the coming year. Certainly different planets will have a different take on it and I would expect a planet like Pale that was devestated by the sathar and became the catalyst for the formation of the UPF probably observes Founder's Day a little different from say Minotaur which had only indirect contact with the sathar. Just some stray thoughts. None the less stay safe, dont let any yazirians you know drink and road rage. Enjoy yourself and see you around the Frontier in 2013. December 27, 2012 - 9:47am | Happy Holidays again, I'm in Maine at my parents and I didn't do things like insist the kids bring snow pants and snow boots because I just didn't think there would be snow and now we need them- actually we're getting by with what we have and I limit the ammount of time playing in the snow then dry everything in the dryer. So it is turning out to be a white Christmas and even whiter new year. Worked out nice that the kids did get to play in snow as one wonders what the impact of global warming will be and if snow activities will become rare in places like Maine. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
