bossmoss October 4, 2012 - 6:20pm | Years ago, there was a website called Star Frontiers 654. It seems to be gone now, and I can find no mention of it anywhere. On that site, there was an alien species known as the Thyrann. Does anyone have any information about the Thyrann, Star Frontiers 654, or the creator of this site/species? |
jedion357 October 4, 2012 - 7:08pm | Wow you got me as I'm the one who has crawled around the internet archive the hard way looking for lost sTar Frontier sites and I've never heard of that one. hhhhmmmm lost SF site I've never heard of nor seen.....hhhhmmmmm, Damit! Bossmoss I have a deadline with the magazine! I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

bossmoss October 4, 2012 - 11:16pm | Sorry Jedion! He also had Farghul, some cat people called Brienshanna, and an insectoid species called Rellgrak. It was a pretty major site. I visited it around 2006-2008, I think. |
Shadow Shack October 5, 2012 - 2:59am | I remember that as well. If you still have the URL for the site you can plug it in here: I may have said URL in my favorites on my old Y2K dial up PC |
TerlObar October 5, 2012 - 6:12am | If anyone has the URL we'll dig it out of the archive and try to get the information back on line. I've done a few sites (http://starfrontiers.info/archive) and it's a project I should get back to working on. Ad Astra Per Ardua! Shadow Shack October 5, 2012 - 1:28pm | Gah, I'd forgotten how said dial up PC is Windows Millenium Edition, which is further hampered by a few viruses to assist that lame OS into not working. Or maybe they're helping it to work better. The jury's still out on that, but one thing is for certain: I do NOT miss that pile. |
TerlObar October 5, 2012 - 1:58pm | Yes, I remember you cursing that machine any number of times. Ad Astra Per Ardua! My blog - Expanding Frontier Webmaster - The Star Frontiers Network & this site Founding Editor - The Frontier Explorer Magazine Managing Editor - The Star Frontiersman Magazine |
Shadow Shack October 5, 2012 - 9:44pm | Yep, Bill Gates proved that we could make an inferior product that would never work right far more efficiently than China could ever hope for. |
