Core Four and Fathers Day

How do each of the core four celebrate Fathers Day?
  • Humans - much like we do today.
  • Yazirians - not sure, perhaps something about the Ancient Hunt, or replace father with clan and have a Clan Day were those who raised the pups are honored.
  • Vrusk - no such holiday exists
  • Dralasite - no such holiday, but they would use it as an excuse to party and crack jokes at humans.

Humans:  Their offspring bring them large offerings of bacon.
Yazirians:  Their offspring bring them the live pig.
Vrusk:  Their offspring bring them large investments in pork bellys.
Dralasites:  Their offspring bring them large bacon flavored puddings.

With yazirians the parents are not celebrated but the clan is.

Vrusk might celebrate the company's founding.

dralasites- I'm sure they celebrate something and are suitably philosophical about it. No doubt its 1 part Father/Mother day and 2 parts April Fools.

Speaking of April Fools, they celebrate that as well since encountering humans and have nominated it as a Frontier wide holiday before the Council of Worlds. It was of course shot down, with yazirian delegates being the most vocal. One vrusk queried his fellow dralasite council being as to why did the dralasites make the proposition if they knew it would be shot down anyway?

The reply, "That's part of the joke."
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Sometimes laced with bacon flavored vodka.
