w00t (not verified) February 6, 2012 - 1:11pm | Cool! Reminds me of jedion's article, "How much for the implant in the window." ---- Somewhere else I discussed the BattleTech Cartoon where the Clans had tattoo tech that allowed them to interface with their Mechs improving imagery and such. I think I'm going to add this option to my next vehicle article. "Tattoo BioTech is another way of interfacing with vehicles, however many people like them because they look cool and glow!" :-) ---- What about robots have organic/biotech on their hulls? Anthroporphic robots having integrated biotech could be interesting. Just a thought. I got moore. |

In walks the terminator. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

Oddly enough, like a number of fans, I got into the BT game for the *borrowed* Robotech designs, but it was seeing the neon tattoos in the cartoon that got me hooked into the fiction. Then I was disappointed when I found out the TRON lightshow was not part of the fiction. Eventually they canonize the glowy tats, but by then I discovered the classic BT booklet, and I rejected the whole Clan Invasion arch and the Clans outright! rattraveller February 14, 2012 - 9:31am | The BT cartoons were supposed to be canon since many of the plot lines were drawn from the previous books. The idea of the tats probably came from "Hey we want to introduce GCI to cartoons how about this?" Still they came out pretty cool looking. Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go? |
