jedion357 December 8, 2011 - 9:43am | By post and email I've chatted with peeps on five continents, in chat rooms live that drops to US & Asia for star frontiers - can't remember if I was in a chat room with any of our British Frontiersman. Thanks Iggy for the shoot out from China. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

rattraveller December 8, 2011 - 4:16pm | Unknown since I seldom ask or care where people are from. Although the two dralasite jokers on this forum are probably from somewhere in the Frontier. (You know who you are) Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go? |
jedion357 December 8, 2011 - 5:04pm | Apparently the Great Firewall of Chine allows starfrontiers.us through but not Youtube. Had a quick chatt with iggy before putting the kids on the bus. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
FirstCitizen December 8, 2011 - 11:03pm | For work I was recently the engineering lead on a global platform localized to 15 languages and available in 30+ countries. Had content experts in each locale that I worked with daily. For fun, pretty much all the continents. For SF, I dunno, where is everyone at? The only SF chatter I know for sure is an old college friend a few miles away (who's not on this site yet) :) |
iggy December 10, 2011 - 1:58pm | Apparently the Great Firewall of Chine allows starfrontiers.us through but not Youtube. Had a quick chat with iggy before putting the kids on the bus. One of the guys with is on the trip is Taiwanese raised in the US after age 14 or so. He likes to push things a bit and was encouraging us to search Ten Man Square on google while using the factories internet connection. It was pretty interesting how the plant manager was decidedly against it. I also could not used google chat on my phone as I do when I am in Taiwan. ps. I know TS is spelled wrong above. I am likely going back for another factory inspection in three or four months. I don't want any Chinese robots black listing SF.US because it finds TS on the site. -iggy |
