Tracer ship implants

When characters get a loan from the bank they usually are tagged with tracer implants. Loaned ships have a different tagging mechanism however it functions the same.

It also easy to find and remove.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

The idea came from Farscape, a physical docking collar was attached to the ship.
Perhaps a program could be buried in the computer system, or a physically black-box attached to ship system. In either case removal could be disastrous.
