July 24, 2011 - 9:11am | Interesting thought occured to me while reading the thread: what if WOTC did come down on us? Do we switch to INAD and INAS or invent new races like Ameboids and Wormthar? What would you do for the yazirians? Vrusk are probably easy- Mantoids I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
July 24, 2011 - 11:26am | While I'd be completely surprised if WOTC cared enough about any product that no longer brings them revenue, if they sent a C&D for everything SF, I think we'd still be safe using Bugs, Blobs, Humans, Monkeys and Worms. July 26, 2011 - 12:54pm | WoTC hired a law-firm to go after people publishing GammaWorld material, they don't care about SF. Anyway, we have a letter from them approving the Remastered project. :-) Remember, Frontier Space RPG will be coming out and that my friends is something WE OWN! This should excite everyone concerned with publishing material for SF. Although it does not contain SF intellectual property, you could be inspired by your love of SF to make a setting the closely resembles it (I started one such setting). :-) I would love some of Scarecrow's art on a tee shirt with, "Not Star Frontiers" or "Not the Rim Races" or his yaz on a hover bike "Not a yazirian on a Streel hoverbike".  |
