May 15, 2011 - 2:22pm | Again, thank you. I have plans on putting out a lot more work, the eleanor has come up a few times so there is a good chance it will come out sooner then later. Im not familiar with all the ships so if someone can post a photo of the moneyspider here, that will help. I have an original freighter I will put out when I improve the mold also a freighter design of my own. |

May 19, 2011 - 12:17am | Ok This is a rough mock up, just wanted to get an idea how well these will do, just need to buy different mold material, the stuff I just got sucks. After i make a decent mold I can get these out. This will have one body type, choice of two heads (one w/ helmet see my avatar and one w/out), four arms (two left, two right) to customise figure. the pistol is Frontiersman Heavy Pistol (see Issue 8 classifieds of Star Frontiersman magazine. I am taking pre orders for this item I am calling BUG ALEIN, the number for pre orders will determine if it ever goes into production.   |
 May 18, 2011 - 7:05am | Spyder, love the vursk- I thinking you should create a price list with photos done as a PDF and upload it to the miniatures project might be the best thing- keep posting notices here and when you need to you can delete the price list, updated it and re-upload it to the project. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

I like the idea of the equipment but just to keep everyone informed small items are not casting well at this time and it takes few cast to get that one good one I ship out. Still I like the idea It would be like the warhammer minis. |

If placed on stands of some sort, they could easily be used for a Knight Hawks night of fun! Especially with my chessex black 1" hex battle mat! 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our
vision, but when you're cool like us the sun shines all the time. |

Those big ships are REALLY big, especially the hulking brute of an assault carrier. |

June 11, 2011 - 6:19pm | Two showed up snapped, so I simply trimmed the others to match. Not a problem, don't worry about it. They still look suitably cannon-y in person. All in all, quite nice ships and extremely reasonably priced. One suggestion, you can probably save yourself a dollar or two on shipping if you can pick up some 400 count card boxes from your local sports card shop or game store and ship via 1st Class Mail. It's generally just as fast as Small Flat Rate Priority and the low weight of resin makes it somewhat more economical unless it's a very large order - about twice the size of mine, at a guess. Won't work as well once you shift to metal and the weight-per-piece increases, but for resin they're hard to beat - shouldn't cost more than 50 cents a box, which you can pass along. |

I probrably will not use this as a minelayer, most likely either a heavy destroyer or some kind of strike cruiser as it is a bit big for a destroyer. |

Another modified mini from Spyder's collection. THe Sathar LC looks a lot like my design for the SW-1 era Sathar Harbinger battlecruiser. So I removed the engine nacelles and it did have a strong resemblance. I made the Hull really distressed with lots of scortches, scratches and "dirt" to convey an old beat up feel. |

July 16, 2011 - 9:46am | I have just bought the production rights to more miniatures and I am working on getting a decent website up, I will have both Sci-fi and fantasy miniatures available. Two of these minis will go to my sci-fi section as random encounter aliens, also I hope to have production molds of my "bug alien" (no photo till its ready, just the wip from above) soon. I have revamped it to have a futuristic looking armour over most of its body, it will have one body w/ choice of two heads and six different arms. Still in the works I am getting away from plastic for the most part and going to metal. This change will effect prices. Random encounter alien  |
