Deryn_Rys December 2, 2010 - 3:14pm | I know that this seems like it will be a monumental task, but I promise you guys that I'm going to try my best to get this project as close to what I envision it to look like. Aside from the core books (the core guidebook, and Administrator's guide, and Knighthawks) There will be the Expanded Frontier's guidebook. which will complete the mandatory books needed to play the game, and then there will be the Zebs guides, which will allow Players and Administrators to pick and choose material they want in their games. the Zebs library will hopefully include the following guidebooks (each which should be between 100 and 200 pages) Zebulon’s guides to Frontier Space These guides present materials pertaining to the known frontier, including information on the various races, found in that area of space, Frontier History, and details about the many star systems in that area of Frontier Space. These guidebooks are not the definitive guide to the Frontier, but should offer Players and Administrator enough Information to jump start his imagination. These books are: Zebulon’s guide to Frontier space: volume one: The Core worlds Zebulon’s guide to Frontier space: volume two: The Central systems Zebulon’s guide to Frontier space: volume three: The Outer systems Zebulon’s guide to Frontier space: volume four: The Rim Coalition Zebulon’s Guide to Frontier Vehicles This guidebook presents rules for the creation and use of vehicles in the Frontier. This book contains dozens of Vehicles, System ships, Starships used throughout the Frontier. This book also provides details of vehicles and spacecraft used by Alien races in the Frontier. Zebulon’s guide to Cybernetics in the Frontier In this guidebook are rules detailing the creation of robots in the frontier, including rules pertaining to the creation of heroic Robots. This guidebook also includes detailed information about cybernetics, nano-technology, and even includes rules for the creation of mechs, and drone class vehicles, or spacecraft. Lastly this guidebook will provide stats for dozens of robots, mechs, and drone vehicles, or space craft. Zebulon’s guide to Frontier Technology These guidebooks will offer new equipment for use in the Star Frontiers game. Some items will be advanced versions of Items already found in the core books, while others will showcase new technology that can be integrated into the game. Zebulon’s Guide to Animals of the Frontier This guidebook presents stats for a wide variety of animals that exist in the Frontier. This guide is not a complete listing of every type of animal in the Frontier, but gives enough of a variety to jumpstart the Administrator’s imagination, and provides made challenges for his player’s heroes to overcome. Zebulon’s Guide to Frontier Creatures Volume one to three These guides covers many creatures that are found throughout the Frontier. The first volume focuses on creatures that have appeared in the various adventures created for the Star Frontiers game. Additional volumes will provide stats for new creatures that the Administrator can use in his adventures. Zebulon’s Guide to Monsters, Mutants, and other Aberrations Though the Frontier has many challenges, the creatures found in this guidebook are bio-engineered, genetic aberrations, and mechanically enhanced creatures. These creatures are presented to help Administrators creating adventures in the Frontier to add a whole new level of challenge to his campaign. Zebulon’s Guide to the Vastness of Space These guidebooks detail many new alien cultures that exist in the great expanse of space beyond the Rim, and includes an overview of many star systems outside of Frontier space. Some of these cultures have created vast empires spanning several dozen star systems, and several have encountered the Sathar and worse terrors in the past. Zebulon’s Guide to the Vastness of Space: volume one: The Badlands Zebulon’s Guides of Heroes and Villains These Guidebooks provide many pre-generated characters that are ready to be inserted into any Star Frontiers adventure. This guides are a series of suppliments to help Administrators and Players get the most out of Star Frontiers. Hopefully we can see this project reach that goal and if enough people see the kind of dedication that we have to Star Frontiers, maybe others will be inspired to increase their input in the revival and who knows where it'll go from there.
