Shadow Shack March 27, 2010 - 2:42pm | I found this on another forum and thought it was pretty fun. ___________________________________ 1. If you could bring back one thing from the 80's what would it be? |
Shadow Shack April 16, 2010 - 1:12pm | Wasn't kidding anyone, but it's just not a contest right now seeing as only one of them is still kicking. Literally... |

Shadow Shack April 26, 2010 - 3:30am | I just got done with a V-marathon. I picked up both mini-series and the regular series on DVD recently. And to date have managed to miss every one of the new episodes. |

Ascent April 27, 2010 - 4:38pm | And to date have managed to miss every one of the new episodes. Don't worry. They're two different series', pretty much independent of each other. The newer one has a bare shadow of the former series' characters and little to none of the same plotline. Pretty much the only thing the same is lizardmen from outerspace pretending to be our friends, but not, and a rebellion, and the boy turned traitor, only without the pathology. They even said "V" stands for "visitors", when the original series clearly states that "V" stands for "victory". Shows you how little the new writers know about the original series. It might be a good story in its own right, but I can't get past all the differences, so I don't watch it. View my profile for a list of articles I have written, am writing, will write. Shadow Shack April 27, 2010 - 6:05pm | Ah, so it's sort of like Clash of the Titans... LOL |

Shows you how little the new writers know about the original series. Funny thing- the guy who produced V back in the day wanted to do a show on the resistence in WW2 and the studio producers were looking for a Sci Fi show and he had to rewrite the whole script as Science Fiction. I think the ignorance of the writers as to what V actually stood for is a sign that we are finally ready for the Vistors to show up and take over for real.
