First they reduced to forum to one page last year then we discovered WoTC claims co-ownership of anything posted on their forums. As you can guess the forum as turned into a Q&A only area. February 22, 2010 - 9:39pm | Figures..... WoTC has gone full Wanker... Right on! Did you know that the next edition of Gamma World RPG will come with a series of randomized card boosters? That's the end for me and countless others. Hasbro must be pushing hard for higher profit margins. Mixing CCGs and RPGs is the end of RPGs as we knew them. If it works all the other publishers will jump on the band wagon... Its a good thing I kept most of my RPGs over the last 30 years. I will spend next 30 playing them again and again. I was so excited about the Frontierspace project because I would rather give my time and effort make art for Bill, Larry, Tom, Will, Shadow, Ascent, Gilbert, and the crew then to waste my time working on something for a soul-less company like WOTC. I dont blame them for making money but at some point you have to say enough is enough, contributors forum works being claimed by WOTC as their property is obscene. Star Trek folks at Paramount are pretty bad but at least they leave the fan-fiction projects alone so long as the artist or author doesnt charge money. |
