 February 9, 2010 - 12:27pm | over on Obsidian Portal I'm using the wiki feature of their game support platform to create the The Pan Galactic Direct Order CatalogWhich is nothing more than the AD equipment list as a fully cross referrence wikiI've probably done about 50% of everything that isn't a robot, computer or vehicle. Tenatively planning the Capellan Catalog or Capellan Gear Catalog or Capellan Catalog of Cool; which will be every thing else from Zebs even including things I don't like but with a "Discontinued" heading At any rate I like the idea of a Sears catalog in the frontier and PGC seems to be the best candidate for putting its name on it. Think I'll include the small list of personal gear from KH in the PG Direct catalog since it would make a small listing. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |

February 9, 2010 - 2:18pm | http://www.obsidianportal.com/ I am the one and only Star Frontiers campaign on the portal http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/9587 I'm using the wiki in preparation of supporting campaigns- basically I'm hand typing in AD material right now then will move onto KH and Zebs followed by dragon mag material then judiciously add other stuff (zine). its not an overlap just dusted off the wiki there and reorganized it as I got yet another request to join my none existent campaign there. so I fired off an email inviting that person (who is in Rio, Brazil to join us at Terl's site) but then started playin with the wiki again and I really like it. obsidian is real nice with an adventure log, wiki, maps, character folders and forums. since thje displacement of my F2F campaign to the internet because one of the groups players doesn't want to try something new (stuck in D&D3.5) and we cant seem to solve the log in problems one player is having with yahoo; I'll proposed to the group to move the game to obsidian and restart the volturnus campaign there and use up the 2nd campaign slot that the free account allows. In truth my wiki has nothing to do with the other one its just a base line of game knowledge and tweaks to the setting that I'm creating. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
