Anonymous December 17, 2009 - 7:01pm | Refer to: Dralasites. First of all I love the artwork. +1 Who's art is this? Do we have permission to post it on our site? (Just want to make sure we get perms and give credit) |
jedion357 December 17, 2009 - 8:55pm | WOW that is awesome. Really captures the alienness of the dralasite, something that much of the artwork out there fails to do. very very cool who ever did this should do more. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
Scarecrow December 18, 2009 - 2:28am | It is mine. I did it all myself with my own crayons, and I posted it. Glad you like it. More of my stuff here: http://scarecrovv.deviantart.com/ Crow Wayne Peters Senior Artist Blitz Games, Leamington |

jedion357 December 18, 2009 - 8:01am | Nice stuff crow, I was going to ask what medium but I'm totally surprised by crayons. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
Scarecrow December 18, 2009 - 8:11am | Well, okay, it was Photoshop. Crayons get the scanner dirty. And, w00t, I'd love to do some stuff for the Frontiersman Wayne Peters Senior Artist Blitz Games, Leamington |
Captain Rags August 17, 2010 - 12:43pm | Simply awesome artwork. I've only been using MS Paint on my SF artwork, although my gf is trying to get me to start using Gimp. I guess it can only help with the overall effect of the pics. Could certainly use some constructive imput by art titans like you guys. If you have the time, my stuff is on http://ragnarr.webs.com Again, your artwork rocks. ~R My SF website izz: http://ragnarr.webs.com |
w00t (not verified) August 18, 2010 - 1:48pm | Hey Captain Rags, I'm using your image in the webzine - how do you want to be credited? |
Scarecrow August 26, 2010 - 11:39am | Rags, I love your stuff and I was going to say that Gimp was the way forward but now I'm not so sure. You'd probably disagree, but I think the limited pallette that you are using gives your work a very unique and distinctive style. It reminds me a lot of screen art from early 8 and 16 bit gaming systems. Very retro cool and really suits Star Frontiers too :) Gimp offers a lot of things. In many ways it's on an equal footing with Photoshop but I worry that it'd just be over-egging the pudding. Crow Wayne Peters Senior Artist Blitz Games, Leamington |
