Not sure. I'm asking around before I contact him directly. I'm gonna try his software this week - if it works I'll prob do a short writeup.

I ran the game, it looked really good but kept crashing on my system. Im not sure what the problem was i was hoping to see more of what it had to offer.

How surprised I was to find this topic here...

I started working on that game since I think the SF community has never really gotten a good video game based off of our aging RPG.  Unfortunately, I have abandoned working on the game due to slow progress.  After some consideration, I realized I would need around two years to finish the game.  I'm just not focused enough to be able to take on a task that big alone.  I was deployed to Afghanistan when I started this, so had tons of spare time to work on something this involved.  What you see posted on 001 is a taped together version to let folks see where I was going with the game.  It is pretty buggy, but it shows the graphics and game play of just the first mission.

I had originally imagined this as a FPS, but that was just too much for my team of one.

Well, Lucifiend, it looks great.  And if you ever want to breath life back into it and expand the development team to greater than one, there are some programmers around here that would probably be willing to help out.  Reading your thread posts on the game, it looks like you are more into the graphics side of it.  Art Eaton over on the Starfrontiers.org site is looking for art help on his game he's writing.  If you're interested, head over there and talk to him.  Your art is amazing.
