Wow...what an awesome time. I'm so g33ked to meet great people.

I got to meet Larry Elmore! Hopefully we will be able to publish an interview with Larry in an upcoming issue. (David Cook is on my plate as well thanks to Wolfgang Baur.) Check out his Open Design projects. His mag is great too!

What do you get when you mix to cool guys in kilts, small rocks, celary and lots of hot water? Gnome Stew! Thanks to John of Silvervine Games and Patrick (awesome FUDGE GM) for running great games.

If you get a chance check out Dread. The game mechanic is Jenga. Jason Pisano ran some fantasitcal games. I was horrified! :-)

{end plugs}

GM's interested in running Star Frontiers in Ohio (or bordering states) please let me know.

Dude!  I was there!  I didn't get to play much, I was only there Saturday morning & afternoon.

What was weird was to run into someone I hadn't seen since graduating college, and then someone I hadn't seen since I transferred from an earlier college!

My wife and 11-year-old had a good time, too, so I think we are definitely going back next year, and to AnCon in May.

Oh, and I'm in Ohio, but I don't have a game going.

Whoa and dang.
I knew I should have posted here before going.

AnCon and CotC will be my standard from henceforth. SuperDave and Andy run great cons.

Sounds cool W00t!!! Any sign of SF at the Con?

Nope. I brought my stuff but didn't get a chance to run a game. I did show off our Remastered version and brought copies of the webzine to show off. Everyone loves it.

Hm, I missed you (of course) showing off SF stuff.  I was hoping to find something space-ish.  There was a boardgame, "Blitz Jager" that I tried.

Next year, then!

@Putraack
Bill said he updated the Blitz Jager rules but I didn't have time to play. :-(
(Last time we played it was a matter of sitting 1 hex away and blasting each-other.)

How did you like it?

It was OK.  I'm not looking to add *ANOTHER* space-combat game to my collection, so it didn't float my boat.  It was easy and quick, and the mechanics flowed pretty smoothly.  After some early mistakes, I got the hang of it and cornered him.  It was a 2v2 fight, and I blasted his one by one.

Way to represent, Larry.

We got to get a game going, and throw around some T-Shirts...
