Corvus October 3, 2009 - 2:17am | I'm feeling inspired to write a new article for the Frontiersman on personal defenses, exploring existing ones and creating new options. I could use help gathering as much information on defenses in the game as possible -- suits, screens, shields, the works. If you all could help me compile that info, it would be much appreciated! jedion357 October 3, 2009 - 4:39am | I'd say start with AD and Zebs equipment list- I don't believe there are any in the modules And the polyplate armor from the digitally remastered rules next step is the Fan-zine work it like you're researching a term paper I can point out that the flack armor (cant remember which SFman # right now) its description said, IIRC, something like only 10pts of damage could be intercepted- I suspect that is a typo. it would be nice to clear that up. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
Georgie October 3, 2009 - 6:09am | Think of this as improved polyplate, or as skein suits -> http://science.howstuffworks.com/liquid-body-armor.htm The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of

umungus October 3, 2009 - 8:10pm | In my games we use the light, medium and heavy combat armor from issue 5. The game mechanic works pretty well. I like it better than the poly- plate idea. At least I got to scare an alien rabbit thingy...... |
