I just think a lot of detail was put into it without making it specific to a campaign setting. But would a race like this work for FrontierSpace core? I mean, it's sortof a primitive race. Then I started thinking... maybe we could come up with three core (plus human) spacefaring races then produce several pages of suggested races for referees to drop into his games as desired... maybe all the sfman races could be in the Referee book. Why short-change it? We could also make a short race creation process (step 1, step 2, etc.) that pretty much describes how to approximate some game balance. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day.
