CleanCutRogue November 29, 2008 - 9:24am | It's gotta feel like a game that was born from the minds of those who
love Star Frontiers, because it's going to be a game very reminiscent
of that game :-) For now, I threw up "FrontierSpace" but that's a
placeholder until the community speaks. 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our

Will November 29, 2008 - 10:17am | IMO, I think this should be the last thing we tackle. Let's work on the game itself, and then come up with a title. "You're everything that's base in humanity," Cochrane continued. w00t (not verified) November 29, 2008 - 10:19am | Let's work on the game itself, and then come up with a title. Agreed. With the current title my mind goes to "Galaxy Rangers" or our beloved "Star Frontiers". I guess we need to define a setting. ? |
CleanCutRogue November 29, 2008 - 12:24pm | I'm fine with that. We'll use this placeholder for now. I like the idea of a Frontier feel to the galaxy - the idea that many planets are settled but the rate of travel and communication forces many outlying worlds to live like early settlers, finding ways to cope with less as they carve out their culture in the growing galaxy. For now, we can use FrontierSpace - later, we can do a Find & Replace :-) But there's nothing wrong with thinking about this as we do other things. Developer ADD is a common malody - and I suffer from it like anyone else. Having a diversionary topic of conversation helps keep me jumping around but focused on a project as a whole. 3.
