TerlObar October 17, 2008 - 7:37pm | Didn't it go away with Corjay? I believe that was one of the projects he had that he deleted. If no one else has copies of the dowloads, Bill might in an old backup of the site. Of course that means waiting until he becomes available again. Ad Astra Per Ardua! Gergmaster October 17, 2008 - 9:22pm | Yeah Bill deleted the project or something along those lines. Confucious Says: Man with one chopstick go hungry. Man who eat many prunes get good run for money. Man who live in glass house should change clothes in basement. |
TerlObar October 17, 2008 - 10:09pm | Yeah, Corjay deleted it but it didn't go cleanly and Bill cleaned it up. Ad Astra Per Ardua! w00t (not verified) October 17, 2008 - 10:58pm | I emailed Corjay. There was some great stuff in that project. I'm tinkering with building a land based board game called Ground Hawks. |
Corvus October 18, 2008 - 12:00pm | I'm tinkering with building a land based board game called Ground Hawks. How about a hovercycle-based action game called Street Hawks? ;) I think I just showed how old I am. And how much of a geek I am. AZ_GAMER October 18, 2008 - 5:47pm | ooooh, street/ground hawks sounds like an interesting concept. I would like to see that come together. I have a lot of ready made mesh models for futuristic ground vehicles and few cycles that I could make some artwork with to contribute. However, I will be tied up on current projects till late this year so I cant dedicate or commit a whole lot of time to it at this point. However, for the future, I would definitely like to help out with digital art. |

Hrm.. like an add on module for "inner city" fighting. :-) Space Hawks is desinged for fighter to fighter combat around larger capital ships, space stations and planetary objects. Ground Hawks is desinged for small skirmishes to large scale planetary assaults. Street Hawks, and add-on module for Ground Hawks is desinged for inner city fighting. AZ, Artwork would be sweet. It's probally just me but when people have artwork and pictures in their Rules and Games I'm more likey to read them. (hope that make sense) |

Will October 19, 2008 - 8:31am | I did, Andrew. Series sucked lemons, tho. "You're everything that's base in humanity," Cochrane continued. w00t (not verified) October 19, 2008 - 7:23pm | Corjay sent me the entire Delta Dawn Project. There is some excellent material in there! :-) Street Hawks Ho! |
umungus October 20, 2008 - 1:57pm | What was Delta Dawn? At least I got to scare an alien rabbit thingy...... |
elpotof October 20, 2008 - 2:22pm | Delta Dawn was essentially trying to create land based conflict on a mass scale, pretty much what I am currently trying to do with SF: Sathar Wars. There wasn't much in the way of rules, but the background, formations, and structure were well handled. I'm sure we'll see it in one shape or another soon - Is Corjay happy for Delta Dawn to be on the site again? I hope so. |
Karxan March 3, 2012 - 4:33am | I would like to look at Delta Dawn if it is at all available. |
jedion357 March 3, 2012 - 12:31pm | I would like to look at Delta Dawn if it is at all available. Corjay talked about having a Dalta Dawn source book back 5 years ago but i think its one of those things that got shelved as I dont really remember seeing it myself. I think I remember seeing a cool cover for a Ground Hawks project but I dont think that went anywhere either unless I missed it. Part of the reason I join all the projects so that I can see whats new when I log in but I still miss things here and there. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
