AZ_GAMER August 9, 2008 - 11:24am | No Issue #9 yet, what happened? I was really interested to see which of my submissions made it, and what became of the projects such as the FTL torpedo and Jump Tug that I spent many hours working on. I also wanted to see which if any of my recent art submissions were used. Not to mention I was also very curious to see what others in our community had submitted. It would be very nice to know what is going on. I have to admit I am a little disappointed, I know everyone is very busy and that life is merciless when it comes to throwing wrenches, but it would have been nice to have gotten a notice that there was going to be further delays. I cant count the number of times I logged on Friday to see if the issue had been posted for download. |

TerlObar August 9, 2008 - 11:42pm | To avoid logging on repeatedly to see if it was available, I just signed up for the RSS feed on www.starfrontiersman.com. I figured I'd go look for it once I saw it was there. I'm off to Yellowstone for the week so maybe it will be out when I get back. Ad Astra Per Ardua! w00t (not verified) August 13, 2008 - 6:32am | Refer to: Star Frontiersman Issue 9 update I had to travel out of state and didn't have access to a PC to update the post. With Bill out, two line editors that are extremely busy and me putting my first issue together using software I'm not familiar with it's taking longer than expected. Taking the torch is one thing, doing all the work that comes with the torch is another. |
AZ_GAMER August 13, 2008 - 6:35am | we're rooting for ya Woot! I think Issue 9 is very important to the community as a whole as both a matter of interest and moral. Go team! |
