Corvus April 29, 2008 - 12:19pm | Since Bill's a butterfingers... I mentioned before that I recently bought an Xbox 360 and have started playing Mass Effect. Some of you mentioned that you liked the game, but I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on importing some of the concepts from Mass Effect into Star Frontiers. I am quite fond of the Mass Relay idea. It brings together the concepts of an ancient alien civilization, "jump points" and powerful artifacts. I also like the alien species and the weapons technology. I'm not very far into the game yet, so there's a lot for me to discover, but already I love the wealth of systems and worlds. elpotof April 29, 2008 - 12:23pm | A bit off track, but I'd just like to say thanks Corvus. I've just been playing oblivion to death, and wasn't aware of this sci fi treat. May my penny pile grow exponentially real quick... |

beowulf May 31, 2008 - 7:46am | I saw it in the store, but it requires 1.0 GB or more RAM for the PC version. My RAM is only up to 512 at the moment. That could give me an excuse to upgrade my RAM. Does anyone have a rough estimate on how much such an upgrade might cost? |
SmootRK May 31, 2008 - 8:07am | Certainly becomes an expensive game when you include the costs for upgrading your PC in order to play!?! <insert witty comment here> |
Gergmaster May 31, 2008 - 7:27pm | {{Answer for Beowolf}} A stick of RAM can cost anywhere around 45 dollars to 80 dollars depending on who you go with. First you need to find your RAM type and that will really determine the amount you will pay. Look either on google for RAM stores or go to the maufacture's website and see if you can buy another stick or so. I also suggest you look up how much RAM your computer's motherboard can take. Some can take only 512 and others can take 4GB or more (most of the time you dont need that much). Confucious Says: Man with one chopstick go hungry. Man who eat many prunes get good run for money.
