GJD January 15, 2008 - 8:17pm | Refer to: GJD CGI Imgaes 8 - Sabre Class advanced Assault Scout. what it says up there... |
Corjay (not verified) January 15, 2008 - 9:18pm | I like that. The downsloaped head makes it very intimidating, like it's ready to pounce. |
w00t (not verified) January 16, 2008 - 7:17am | nice job GJD. PHENOMINAL ENGINE POWER! itty bitty lasery battery |
GJD January 16, 2008 - 10:13am | Hey, it's not the size of your emmitter, it's the power of your fast-discharge homopolar capacitor array that matters ;) |
w00t (not verified) January 16, 2008 - 11:00am | I'll probaly whip up the PGC, Wartech and Streel designs at some point as well. Suggestions for styling are always welcome :) Streel - grayish steel color, sleek and not-to-expensive-looking. more for exploration type jobs. PGC - stylish, suave (can a ship look suave ) anyway they got cash, ships should reflect that. maybe the latest gear Wartech - bad looking. like, maybe weapon looking. this ship says, "DON'T YOU EVEN LOOK THIS WAY BUDDY!" |
Corjay (not verified) January 16, 2008 - 6:48pm | Homo-what?!

GJD January 17, 2008 - 6:10am | Lol Homopolar. It's a type of generator that can release lots of energy in a short time. It's been suggested that a slow dischsrge generator can "pump" a flywheel to store kinetic energy, which is then used to trigger the homopolar generator to release lots of energy in a very short space of time, something batteries and conventional generators can't do. You use your standard generator to "charge up" the flywheel, then convert all the stored kinetic energy to electrical energy using the homopolar generator. This kind of setup, flywheel storage and HP generator, is known as a homopolar capacitor array. Here endeth the lesson. G. |
GJD January 18, 2008 - 8:53pm | ... and updated with the other ships. Couldn't be bothered to write the blurb for them. |
