Gergmaster November 12, 2007 - 10:33am | How about we try contact WOTC and get Star Frontiers on the RPGA's game list? Or even create our own gaming league. Confucious Says: Man with one chopstick go hungry. Man who eat many prunes get good run for money. Man who live in glass house should change clothes in basement. |
CleanCutRogue November 12, 2007 - 11:29am | not sure what that means - I've never known what the RPGA was all about... educate me? 3. We wear sungoggles during the day. Not because the sun affects our
vision, but when you're cool like us the sun shines all the time. |
Imperial Lord November 12, 2007 - 4:17pm | RPGA - RPGamers Association The publish Polyhedron. They are also up in all the Cons - tournaments and such. |
Full Bleed November 12, 2007 - 11:43pm | Honestly, I doubt that there is much stopping people from running SF games at Gencon or Dragon either. Maybe a Convention Promotion project is in order? |
Rum Rogue November 13, 2007 - 6:18am | From what little I have delt with the RPGA, they seem to be stuck on D&D. I think Full Bleed is on the right track with Convention Promotions. Time flies when your having rum. Im a government employee, I dont goof-off. I constructively abuse my time. |
SmootRK November 13, 2007 - 8:56am | RPGA is a WotC sponsored outlet to help support their game of choice. Without huge amounts of interest in a game, WotC pulls the support... even for campaign settings within the D&D umbrella. I am normally quite optimistic, but I will probably sound very pessimistic when I say that I doubt you/we can get much interest from RPGA and/or WotC for any sort of support. This does not mean that we cannot pursue developing our own network of games/events, which is probably a more productive use of our time/energy, and will ultimately give us more control over the endeavor than if we become the puppets of Hasbro/WotC. <insert witty comment here> |
w00t (not verified) November 13, 2007 - 3:22pm | Honestly, I doubt that there is much stopping people from running SF games at Gencon or Dragon either.
